• Illinois Alternative Application - Allows qualifying undocumented students and transgender students who are not otherwise eligible for federal financial aid to apply for Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) grants to attend eligible Illinois colleges, universities, and career education programs. Release of the 2024-25 Alternative Application has been delayed due to the late release of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is anticipated that the Alternative Application will be released within 24 hours of the release of the FAFSA. Keep an eye out for the official release date.
